Industrial Fabricators, Inc. has the flexibility and process ingenuity to cost effectively manufacture specialty bus bar assemblies for a wide range of applications.

We produced the copper bus bar shown here for use in a power and control system application. Constructed from 0.187 in. thick ASTM B187 copper alloy, we formed the components on CNC controlled Boschert CU-Profi, a high speed punch press specifically designed for efficient production of bus bars. Further processing on our Amada HDS8025NT press brake ensured consistent bend angle accuracy over the entire run of 50 units. Automated hardware insertion and pneumatic deburring completed the process.

When finished, the bus bars measured 6.048 in. in length x 4.312 in. in width x 1.00 in. in depth. Dimensional inspection validated that we met the customer’s ±0.015 in. tolerance requirement. Having the right blend of manpower, skills, and equipment enabled us to complete this project in only two weeks.
